Bradford City have confirmed that academy graduates Zac Hadi and Harry Ibbitson have both signed new contracts, keeping them at the University of Bradford Stadium until at least the summer of 2027.

The pair, who turned professional together in 2024, have continued to develop within the first-team environment, gaining valuable experience as they progress through the ranks.

Goalkeeper Hadi, who regularly travels with the senior squad on matchdays, will now join Clitheroe on an initial one-month loan to further his development in men’s football.

Forward Ibbitson made his City debut last season, appearing from the bench in the Vertu Trophy semi-final against Birmingham City. He has also impressed during a loan spell with Chorley, scoring four goals and earning the club’s Player of the Month award for September.

Reflecting on his new deal, Hadi said:

“There has been a lot of hard work. I have been here since I was a little kid, and in recent years training with the first team and coaches has been unbelievable. I have got a lot of love for the club, and it is good to see a pathway here, where I want to push to play as much as possible.”

Ibbitson added:

“I have been training with the first team a lot, working with the coaches and I feel I have improved and levelled up my game. With players like Bobby [Pointon], there is a pathway in front us. Working alongside players like Zac, we all have the same goal of breaking through. Bobby has shown us it is possible.”

City manager Graham Alexander praised the pair’s progress and potential, saying:

“We think Harry and Zac deserve their new contracts as a reward for their progress. Even though they have not broken into the first team just yet, we believe they can do so in the near future if they continue to train and perform as they are doing. We look forward to helping them in this early stage of their careers. It is now down to them to take advantage of the opportunity.”
