Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice will host its annual Christmas Fayre on Sunday the 30th of November 2025, inviting families to take part in a festive afternoon at Russell House.
Running from 12pm to 3pm, the event will feature a variety of seasonal activities including stalls selling handmade gifts, a tombola, live music from a choir and brass band, along with a Santa’s grotto. Visitors will also have the chance to buy real Christmas trees on the day, with a tree recycling service available to book at the same time.
The hospice has run a Christmas tree collection scheme since 2019, but this will be the first time it also sells trees directly to the public. A range of locally grown trees between 4 and 8 feet tall will be available, with proceeds supporting the hospice’s work with children and families.
In addition to the outdoor festivities, local artist Roger Davies will host a colouring club inspired by his West Yorkshire-themed artwork. Davies, who is from Brighouse, said he was pleased to support the event and looked forward to meeting attendees.

“I was delighted when Forget Me Not got in touch to say they’d seen my paintings around Brighouse and invited me to be part of this year’s Christmas Fayre. I love to use my artwork to raise money for local good causes when I get the chance and I’m looking forward to meeting hundreds of Forget Me Not supporters at Russell House.”
Jessica Collins, events fundraiser at the hospice, said:

“We can’t wait to welcome people to this year’s Christmas Fayre. People are in for a treat with lots of opportunities to snap up Christmas gifts or even create your own at Roger Davies’ colouring club. We’ll have a baked potato stall, hot drinks and cakes so you can also get a yummy lunch or snack too.
Santa will be here of course, and to make it even more Christmassy we’ll have 200 beautiful real Christmas trees for people to choose from! These have kindly been donated to us, so every penny spent on a tree or at our Fayre will help us support local children and families.
Come and join the Christmas magic at Forget Me Not!”
