Canadian singer-songwriter to bring soulful Americana to Saltaire

Julian Taylor, a Canadian singer-songwriter nominated for both the JUNO and Polaris Prizes, is set to perform at the Caroline Street Social Club in Saltaire on 19 April 2026. The event will run from 7pm to 9.30pm and features Taylor’s blend of Soulful Americana, Folk Rock, and Alt-Country music.

Julian Taylor is recognised for his emotionally resonant songs that explore themes such as mixed heritage, commitment, and the human condition. His work has received international acclaim, and he is known for his dynamic live performances.

For this UK tour, Taylor will be accompanied by an all-female UK touring band, consisting of:

  • Raevennen Husbandes – Guitar and Vocals
  • Siân Monaghan – Drums

Before Julian Taylor’s headline performance, Michele Stodart, who is best known as the bassist and co-songwriter of The Magic Numbers, will perform a solo set featuring her own material.
