Partial Closure at All Saints CofE Primary School
November 24, 2025Daily School Closure Report:
Parents and guardians of pupils at All Saints CofE Primary School in Bradford have been informed of a partial closure affecting part of the school premises. The closure is due to a heating issue that has rendered the Powell building unusable for the day.
Details of the Closure
The Powell building, which accommodates pupils in Years 2 to 6, will be closed today as the boilers are not functioning, resulting in temperatures below the minimum recommended level for a safe learning environment. This decision has been taken to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children and staff.
Engineers are scheduled to attend to the boiler issue today, and the school anticipates reopening the Powell building as normal tomorrow. In the meantime, teaching staff will provide work for affected pupils via the online platform Class Dojo to ensure continuity of learning during the closure.
Communication and Updates
- Parents have been notified of the closure and arrangements for remote learning.
- Work for pupils in Years 2 to 6 will be set through Class Dojo.
- The school will provide an update to parents by 1pm today regarding the status of the repair and reopening.
At present, this is the only reported school closure in the Bradford area. For information on other school or college closures, parents and carers are advised to use the local school finder tool or subscribe to email alerts for timely updates.
Further details and updates can be accessed through the Bradford Council’s education and skills website.
