Partial Closures at Bradford Schools Due to Heating Issues
November 24, 2025Daily School Closure Report: Updates on Local School Heating Problems
Two schools in Bradford are currently experiencing partial closures due to heating system failures, affecting some pupils’ attendance and learning arrangements. The issues have been reported this morning and are expected to be resolved shortly, with updates provided to parents and guardians.
All Saints CofE Primary School (Bradford)
The Powell building at All Saints CofE Primary School is closed today because of a boiler problem resulting in no heating. The affected building is below the minimum recommended temperature, leading to the closure of classrooms for Years 2 to 6.
Parents have been informed about the closure, and teachers will provide work for the affected pupils via the Class Dojo online platform. Engineers are scheduled to attend to the heating issue today, and the school anticipates reopening the Powell building as normal tomorrow.
An update will be sent to parents by 1pm today regarding the status of the repairs and any further instructions.
Bradford Alternative Provision Academy
The Cityview site of Bradford Alternative Provision Academy, located on Anerley Street, Bradford BD4 7SY, is also closed today due to a boiler failure causing a lack of heating.
All other sites of the academy remain open and operational as usual.
The heating issue is expected to be resolved by tomorrow, but the academy will provide further updates if the closure needs to be extended.
