- The ride costs £3 per person.
- Children under three years old can ride free of charge.
- No advance booking is required to use the wheel.
- Operating hours are 12pm to 7pm Monday to Friday, and 11am to 6pm on weekends.
Visitors to the area can also find seasonal refreshments nearby, including a bratwurst stand and a churro stall, adding to the festive atmosphere in Centenary Square.
Support for local businesses
The Bradford BID Wheel is part of a broader effort by the BID to create memorable experiences that attract shoppers and visitors to Bradford city centre. This initiative aims to support local shops, restaurants, and other attractions during the crucial Christmas trading period.
Bradford BID project manager Leanne Holmes highlighted the goal of the wheel as contributing to festive cheer and family-friendly entertainment in the city centre, helping to boost the local economy at a time when many businesses rely on increased customer activity.
