Drighlington Dance Classes Resume This December

Community Dance Lessons Scheduled at Local Sports Club

Drighlington Community Sports Club will host dance classes on the evening of Wednesday, 3rd December 2025. The sessions are set to run from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, offering opportunities for both improver and intermediate dancers to participate.

Class Timings and Focus

7:00pm – 8:00pm: Improver’s Class – Participants will practise the Melody Foxtrot, the Saunter Together, and, time permitting, the Catherine Waltz.
8:00pm – 9:00pm: Intermediate Class – The focus will be on the Sefton Foxtrot.

The classes are led by an IDTA-qualified dance teacher, ensuring professional instruction for attendees. No dance partner is required to join the sessions.

Venue and Facilities

The event will take place at Drighlington Community Sports Club, located on Moorland Road, BD11 1JZ. Parking options include a car park and off-street parking. A licensed bar will be available on site, and attendees may also bring their own refreshments if preferred.

Pricing and Age Restrictions

There will be a price increase for these classes. The cost is £5 per person for one lesson or £7 per person for both lessons. The sessions are open to individuals aged 14 years and above.
