Learn embroidery techniques with naturally dyed tote bags

An embroidery workshop will take place on 14 March 2026 at the South Square Centre in Bradford. The event, led by artist Rosie McAndrew, offers participants the opportunity to learn various embroidery techniques while personalising naturally dyed tote bags.

Participants will be able to select from a range of tote bags dyed using natural substances such as avocado and turmeric, which create unique colour shades. Throughout the session, Rosie McAndrew will guide attendees through different embroidery processes and techniques to personalise their bags. Attendees will be able to take their finished tote bags home at the end of the workshop.

The workshop welcomes all skill levels, making it suitable for beginners as well as those with prior embroidery experience. The event also provides an opportunity to practise new skills in a social setting among like-minded individuals.

There is an on-site café at South Square Centre where refreshments can be purchased during the session.
