Community art exhibition highlights South Asian women’s creativity

A curator’s talk is scheduled for Saturday 14 March 2026 at South Square in Bradford, offering an opportunity to learn more about the exhibition Sowing Connections. The event will run from 1pm to 2pm and is part of the National Lottery Open Week.

The exhibition, which is open from Friday 6 February to Sunday 5 April 2026, showcases the collaborative work of the Rasi // Twine Women’s Group, a community of South Asian women in Bradford. The group has been working throughout 2025 with local artists Claire Wellesley-Smith and Razwan Ul-Haq, exploring various artistic media including textiles, paintings, and photography.
