Scottish singer-songwriter Ross Wilson, performing as Blue Rose Code, is scheduled to appear at the Caroline Street Social Club in Saltaire on 23 October 2026. The concert will run from 8pm to 10.30pm and features Wilson’s blend of Scots folk and soul music.

About Blue Rose Code

Ross Wilson, the driving force behind Blue Rose Code, has built a reputation for his emotive and soulful performances. His music combines elements of Scottish folk, singer-songwriter traditions, and Caledonian soul. Wilson has collaborated with notable artists such as Karine Polwart and Beth Nielsen Chapman, and has written for Steve Knightley. He has also supported established acts including Van Morrison, Deacon Blue, and the Proclaimers.

In recent years, Wilson has performed with various ensembles, including his nine-piece Caley Soul band. Notably, he appeared at the Cambridge Folk Festival and the Gate To Southwell festival in 2024, as well as a sold-out show at Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre during Celtic Connections. Throughout 2025, Wilson toured in smaller configurations such as solo, duo, and quartet performances, using these shows to develop new material for a forthcoming Blue Rose Code studio album planned for 2026.
