Tuesday Portrait Group to Meet in Keighley

A portrait drawing group will be meeting twice a month in Keighley starting from April 2026. The sessions provide an opportunity for both beginners and experienced artists to practise portraiture and connect with others interested in fine art.
Details of the Tuesday Portrait Group
- Location: Inner Light, a pop-up gallery and art shop in the Airedale Centre, Keighley, opposite Boots and Next
- Dates: First and third Tuesdays of each month
- Time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm, with a short break around 2:45pm for tea and coffee
- Cost: Pay as you feel able, suggested between £10 and £15 per session; payment can be made by cash or card on the day
- Capacity: Maximum of six artists per session
- Age guidance: 16 years and older
What participants need to bring
Artists are required to bring their own drawing materials and paper. Suitable media include pencils, charcoal, oil pastels, watercolour, acrylic, or gouache paints. However, materials that create dust such as some pastels, and oil paints are not permitted due to the public venue setting.
