Steve Cradock, guitarist for the British rock band Ocean Colour Scene (OCS), is scheduled to perform at the King’s Hall and Winter Gardens in Ilkley on 5 March 2027. The event will begin at 7:30pm.

About Steve Cradock

Steve Cradock has been a prominent figure in British rock music since the late 1980s. He co-founded Ocean Colour Scene in 1989 alongside Simon Fowler, Damon Michella, and Oscar Harrison. The band gained significant recognition during the Britpop era, notably performing at record-breaking gigs with Oasis at Knebworth in 1996, which attracted an audience of approximately 250,000 people.

Cradock is known for his distinctive guitar riffs, contributing to some of OCS’s most popular songs including “The Riverboat Song” and “Hundred Mile High.” The band’s 1996 album Moseley Shoals achieved double-platinum status in the UK.

In addition to his work with Ocean Colour Scene, Cradock has been a member of Paul Weller’s band since 1992, participating in all of Weller’s studio albums. He also joined the ska band The Specials in 2014.
