New Music Night Featuring StarSeed, Mrs Mangle and Kijuana

Yorkshire-based artists to perform at Bradford Underground

Performers

StarSeed

StarSeed is a musical project led by Troy Faid, comprising a collective of Yorkshire-based musicians. The group has released several albums and has been featured extensively on BBC 6 Music. They have toured across the UK and mainland Europe and have received critical acclaim. After a break from performing and writing, StarSeed returns with a blend of songwriting, poetry, and musical artistry. Their live performances combine live looping, beat poetry, and experimental improvisations, drawing comparisons to John Cooper Clarke’s lyrical style and Frank Zappa’s jazz-rock improvisations.

Mrs Mangle

Emerging from Bradford in 2024, Mrs Mangle offers a genre-defying sound influenced by a wide range of styles. Their debut album, fully mixed and mastered, is set for release on 28 March 2026. The band’s music is characterised by powerful rhythms, strong riffs, synth hooks, and distinctive vocals.

Kijuana

Kijuana will be making their live debut at this event, opening the night with their first performance.
