Local residents invited to join May Day celebrations

On Friday 1 May 2026, Keighley Market will host a Community May Pole event, offering residents an opportunity to take part in traditional May Day festivities. The event will run from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the centre of the market.

Participants will be able to choose a ribbon, write their name on it, and tie it to the Community May Pole. Live music will be provided throughout the event to accompany the celebrations.
