New partnership aims to encourage greener travel in Bradford

Bradford City FC Community Foundation has joined forces with Bradford Capital of Cycling to promote sustainable travel options across the city. This collaboration supports the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to make travel to and from Mbanq Valley Parade more accessible and environmentally friendly.

Greener Bantams Travel Hub

Earlier this year, the Foundation launched the Greener Bantams Travel Hub, a project supported by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. The Hub’s goal is to encourage affordable and sustainable travel methods for both local residents and Bradford City AFC matchgoers.

Capital of Cycling, an organisation that works with community groups to provide bicycles and run public engagement events and workshops, has now partnered with the Foundation and the football club to promote cycling as a key mode of travel in the district.
