Luke Parkin, often known as ‘Parko,’ began his football career at Leeds United, joining their academy at the age of six. He progressed through the youth ranks and featured for the Leeds United U21 side. Following his time at Leeds, Parkin had a brief spell with Guiseley AFC before moving to Farsley Celtic, where he became an important player in their attacking line.
In 2023, Parkin transferred to Silsden AFC and later had a short period with Warrington Rylands. For the 2024-25 season, he joined Emley AFC, where his performances attracted the attention of Bradford (Park Avenue) manager Craig Elliott.
2025-26 Season and Injury Challenges
Parkin was signed by Bradford (Park Avenue) during the pre-season of 2025-26. Despite being a fan favourite and known for his previous performances against the club, his season was initially disrupted by injury. Nevertheless, Parkin worked hard to regain fitness and form, finishing the season strongly and contributing to the team’s success in reaching the Playoffs.
