Young performers invited to take the stage at Darley Street Kitchen

An open mic night exclusively for under 18s is set to take place at Darley Street Kitchen in Bradford city centre on Friday 25 September 2026. The event offers a platform for young local talent to perform music, poetry, dance, and other acts in a supportive environment.

The event will be hosted by Rosie Doonan, known for her involvement with Birdy, Peter Gabriel, and the Shipley Kidz Choir. A piano and acoustic guitar will be available for performers, who may also bring their own instruments, with the exception of drums. • Performance slots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
• The number of songs each performer can present depends on the number of participants on the night.
• Under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
