Young Marketeers to Host Bradford Market Day

Children from six primary schools across Bradford will take part in the Young Marketeers Bradford Market Day on 9 July 2026. The event, which runs from 11:00 to 13:00, will see pupils selling fresh fruit and vegetables they have grown themselves at Darley Street Market.
Hands-on learning experience for pupils
Over the past few months, the participating children have been cultivating a variety of produce from seed as part of an educational project. The market day offers them the opportunity to apply skills in gardening, teamwork, and marketing by harvesting and selling their crops directly to the public.
Produce on offer
Visitors to the market can expect a colourful selection of seasonal vegetables, including:
- Chard
- Courgettes
- Lettuce
- Microgreens
- Potatoes
- Radishes
- Runner beans
All sales at the event will be cash-only.
