Out Of The Box Family Show Comes to Bingley Arts Centre

Upcoming performance promises a unique blend of circus and comedy

On 11 April 2027, Bingley Arts Centre will host Out Of The Box, a family theatre show that has gained recognition across the UK for its inventive and engaging performance style. The event is scheduled to run from 1pm until midnight, offering audiences a chance to experience a variety of acts throughout the day.

About the Show

Out Of The Box is a multi-award-winning production created by Darryl J Carrington, a performer with over 20 years of experience in circus and clowning. The show features a silent comedy format that combines juggling, physical theatre, and audience interaction without spoken dialogue, making it accessible to a wide range of ages and language backgrounds.

The performance transforms everyday objects into elements of storytelling and spectacle. Examples include a toothbrush used in a balancing act, a string that initiates a heist scenario, and a tea party that culminates in a humorous moment involving one of the characters. The show has previously received five-star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was named Best Family Show at the Brighton Fringe.
