Bradford (Park Avenue) Aim to Extend Unbeaten Run at Morpeth Town

Unbeaten league runs set to clash in Northern Premier League East

Bradford (Park Avenue) face Morpeth Town in a Northern Premier League East Division fixture at Craik Park on Tuesday evening, with kick-off scheduled for 7:45pm. This match marks Bradford’s fourth consecutive away game in the league as they seek to maintain their impressive unbeaten start to the season.

The Avenue currently hold a 15-game unbeaten streak in the league following a 1-1 draw against Consett AFC on Saturday. Despite going behind at half-time to a goal from Isaac Walker, Bradford switched to a back four formation in the second half and dominated much of the play. Their efforts were rewarded when Marcus Carver scored a well-placed low finish with 11 minutes remaining to level the match. In the closing moments, Ben Andreucci appeared to secure a late winner, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

Morpeth Town’s strong home form continues

Morpeth Town, relegated from the Northern Premier League Premier Division last season, have responded strongly in their current campaign. They remain unbeaten in their last 12 league games and currently sit third in the table, four points behind Bradford but having played two more matches.

The Highwaymen have been formidable at home, winning six of their eight league matches at Craik Park this season and remaining undefeated on home soil since mid-August. Their most recent home victory came on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Grimsby Borough, featuring two goals from Adam Frank Ross Lennox and a late strike by Aaron Singh Chungh.

Recent meetings and player availability

• Bradford and Morpeth met in the Isuzu FA Trophy First Round in October 2025, where Bradford won 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
• Their last league meeting at Craik Park was in January 2024, when Bradford led through Chinedu Osadebe before Morpeth scored twice late to win 2-1.
• Bradford will have Connor Brown and Jameel Ible available after suspension for Tuesday’s match.

Implications for the league table

Avoiding defeat on Tuesday would see Bradford return to the top of the Northern Premier League East Division, as title rivals Dunston are not in action until Saturday. Both sides enter the game in strong form, making this a key fixture in the title race.
