Barrow Away Fixture Postponed For Second Time
April 9, 2024Bradford City’s away fixture against Barrow this evening has been postponed as storm Kathleen batters parts of the UK.
The game, originally scheduled for the 24th of February, was due to kick off at 7:45 pm on Tuesday, 9th April 2024. However, Bradford City will have to wait once again to face Barrow, who are currently fifth in the league standings, due to adverse weather conditions. Heavy rainfall overnight left the pitch in an unplayable state, leading to the decision to postpone the match.
Referee Ross Joyce conducted the pitch inspection at 11:00 am and found the conditions unsuitable for the match to proceed. The decision to postpone was made in the interests of player safety and to preserve the quality of the game.
Fans who have purchased tickets or iFollow video match passes for both the original date, and for this evenings game have been advised that they will remain valid for the rescheduled game.
Bradford City and Barrow will be looking to rearrange the fixture as soon as possible, with details expected to be released shortly. Fans are advised to keep an eye on official club channels for the latest updates regarding the rearranged date.
