Capital funding for disabled facilities in community settings

Bradford Council wants more people with disabilities to be able to access and participate in community activities, thereby reducing social isolation, improving access to services and creating benefits in both physical and mental health.

To address the Department of Health and Wellbeing has announced a £900k grants programme Capital funding for disabled facilities in community settings. To apply for these grants you must be a not for profit organisation, operating premises that are open to the public in Bradford District and predominantly working with people over 18 years of age.

Organisations can apply for grants of between £500 and £50,000 to make a wide range of adaptations such as accessible toilets, automatic doors, signage and ramps.

The grants are open for rolling applications from the 7th of May 2021 until 30th September 2021.
