We’ve been as busy as ever as the demand continues to increase due to the cost of living crisis.

In March fed 1563 hungry people in Bradford, a 30% increase on March 2022 and give Easter Eggs to their children!

We’ve been campaigning on trying to get the government to increase the basic rate of Universal Credit as it’s just no longer possible for people to survive on it. At the moment a single adult gets £85 a week for everything apart from rent. The Trussell Trust and Joseph Rowntree Foundation have worked out that people need £120 a week to afford the essentials of life. This is a big gap!

In the meantime, we’re here to help so people don’t go hungry!

If you are able to give food we would super appreciate it. You could do an online shop and have it delivered here to Jubilee Centre on a Tues, Wed or Friday between 9 – 13.00. Give into the collection boxes at Tesco Valley Road, Asda Cemetery Road, Asda Rooley Lane, Lidl Barkerend Road or Lidl Manchester Road. Or donate money here.
