Bradford Cathedral has announced a vacancy for the position of Section Lead and Lay Clerk (Tenor). The role involves singing a leading part within the Cathedral choir and supporting the development of other choir members.
Role details and responsibilities
The position is part-time, requiring 8.75 hours of work per week, with an additional commitment of around 50 hours annually for special services, concerts, and events. The salary offered is £9,100 per annum.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
- Sing as the lead tenor during the regular weekly services and additional liturgical events throughout the church year.
- Provide mentoring and vocal coaching to voluntary and junior members of the Cathedral choir.
- Serve as a professional role model within the choir at all times.
