On Friday 31 October, Centenary Square will be transformed for a free family-friendly Halloween event. The day will feature a variety of interactive performances and activities aimed at creating an engaging experience for visitors of all ages.

- Meet fantastical characters: Attendees can encounter Dreyo the Dragon and other creatures, as well as interact with the Enchanted Cauldron to discover their ‘magical element’.
- Workshops: Children can participate in a Potions Workshop and a Make-a-Wand Workshop to create themed crafts.
- Roaming characters: Characters such as the Dragon Master, Esme and Beastie, and Ord the Ogre will be present for photo opportunities.
- Face painting: Professional face painters will offer free face painting to children.
Visitors are encouraged to attend in costume to enhance the festive atmosphere.
BID Wheel from 18 November to 21 December
Following the Halloween event, a 22-metre observation wheel, known as the BID Wheel, will be installed in Centenary Square from 18 November until 21 December. The wheel is expected to provide panoramic views of the city and contribute to the seasonal festivities.
Ticket prices are set at £3 per person, with free admission for children under three years old. Payments will be accepted by card only, and no advance bookings are required.
These events aim to provide entertainment and encourage visitors to experience Bradford city centre during the autumn and early winter months.
