Bradford is set to host the UN Quantum Hackathon on 21 November 2025 at Bradford Live, bringing together researchers, students, and innovators to develop solutions using quantum computing. The event, organised by the University of Bradford in partnership with Quantinuum and Aqora, features a prize fund of £25,000 and expert mentorship to support participants.

The one-day hackathon aims to encourage collaborative problem-solving within a limited timeframe. It will involve up to 200 participants from across the UK and beyond, working on challenges related to healthcare, energy, transport, and artificial intelligence. The event is part of the United Nations International Year of Quantum and is supported by Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
