Bradford (Park Avenue) has officially confirmed the departure of striker Brad Dockerty, following a mutual agreement.

Dockerty, who first joined the club in 2019 from Hemsworth Miners under the guidance of then-manager Mark Bower, has had an eventful tenure at the Horsfall Stadium, marked by his initial departure in July 2022 to Alfreton Town, only to return to Avenue two months later.

Dockerty’s journey with Bradford (Park Avenue) began under the stewardship of Mark Bower, a period during which he became a prominent figure in the team. However, his trajectory took a notable turn following Bower’s exit and the subsequent appointment of Danny Whitaker as Head Coach. Since then, Dockerty has been conspicuously absent from the playing squad, prompting speculation about his future at the club.

During his stints with the club, Dockerty made an impressive 119 appearances, finding the back of the net 23 times.

The announcement comes as Avenue look to fight their way out of the relegation zone. The club’s official statement expressed gratitude towards Dockerty for his time at the club, wishing him the best in his future endeavours.
