Data Protection toolkit – workshop

To encourage VCSE organisations to be ready for working in partnership with the NHS, West Yorkshire and Harrogate Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Programme Board has supported us to set up a workshop to explain and complete the NHS Data Protection Security Toolkit. Organisations will be required to have completed this for information sharing so this offers a good chance to meet the requirement in one go with advice on hand.

The workshop will be on Thursday 25th November 2021, 14:00 - 15:00 on Microsoft Teams. Please join on this link.

In advance of the workshop, organisations will need to have registered with NHS Digital.

There are two steps:

1: Request an organisation code

• Download the form.
• Send completed forms to exeter.helpdesk@nhs.net

Note that it can take up to 5 days to obtain the code

2: When you have your code, you can Register. You should then be ready to complete the toolkit in the course of the workshop.

Please feel free to share this information with VCSE colleagues so that all have the opportunity to complete this essential requirement in readiness for future partnerships.
