D’Sena Commits to Avenue for 24/25
August 4, 2024Bradford Park Avenue have confirmed that defender Ryley D’Sena has agreed terms to stay with the club until the end of the upcoming 2024/25 season.
The announcement was made on the club’s official Facebook page and stated:
“We are delighted to announce that Australian defender Ryley D’Sena has committed to the club for the upcoming 2024/25 season! Ryley joined the club in February of this year, and quickly became a fans favourite with a number of man of the match performances towards the end of last season.”
D’Sena, who originally hails from Sydney, Australia, joined Bradford Park Avenue from Chesterfield in February 2024. Since his arrival, the centre-back has made a significant impact, earning praise for his solid defensive performances in his 11 league outings for the club.
Before his stint at Chesterfield, D’Sena garnered valuable experience playing in Northern Ireland for Larne and Bangor. His journey to Bradford Park Avenue saw him join Chesterfield’s academy in 2022/23, before later gaining further experience with Stocksbridge Park Steels in the Northern Premier League East Division. Additionally, D’Sena played for Chesterfield’s under-23 Central Midlands Alliance side before a mutual agreement led to his departure from the club.
Fans can look forward to seeing D’Sena in action from the very start of the season, as he will be available for the opening day clash when Bradford Park Avenue faces North Ferriby FC.
