Job Purpose
To deliver a range of programmes, projects, events, and initiatives that increase participation and engagement, for all ages and abilities across the City of Bradford.
To create and manage partnerships with organisations across the City of Bradford and wider networks.
To drive the sustainability of projects through income generation activities.
About you:
- Experience of creating partnerships and managing relationships.
- Experience of the sports sector.
- Experience of collaborating with stakeholders, volunteers, and young people.
- Experience of delivering against agreed outcomes and targets.
- Experience of community development and evidence of working to engage diverse communities.
- Experience of managing project budgets.
- Experience of working within a team environment.
- Experience of creating written reports and evaluation processes.
- Experience of bid writing, income generation.
Duties and responsibilities
- To lead on community focused projects to maximise the impact of the work delivered.
- Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure project delivery is to a high standard.
- Lead on the monitoring and evaluation aspects of all projects.
- Be the main point of contact for community partnerships across the district for the Bradford Bulls foundation.
- Ensure the alignment of work to the strategic plan of the organisation.
- Promote the Bradford Bulls Foundation in a professional manner which helps position it as a delivery partner of choice.
- Lead and oversee a game day programme during weekends and evenings.
- Create partnerships to increase income generation and sustainability.
- Identify and develop funding applications relating to community focused projects.
- Work with the Senior Management Team to identify funding opportunities for new projects which fall within Bradford Bulls Foundations strategic plan.
- Ensure all new initiatives and projects have realistic delivery and budget plans.
- Support colleagues in the operations of the Bradford Bulls Foundation with the community.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Bradford Bulls Foundation’s policies and procedures in all areas of work.
