ILKLEY ARTS IS HOLDING AN OPEN EXHIBITIONAT THE MANOR HOUSE ILKLEY IN AUTUMN 2023
We have an exciting new opportunity coming up which is, of course, open to all members to submit for. Our first Open Exhibition, ‘Take Time’, will be held in The Manor House Ilkley from 16th September to 15th October 2023.
[IN/ON/OVER/THROUGH/OUT OF] TIME . . . Submissions are invited in response to these words and all that they may conjure. Interpretations may be as elastic as time itself, drawing on the poetic, reflective, musical, scientific, linguistic, historic, political, psychological and purely personal associations of this term. The theme is set simply as a starting point and to assist in putting together a cohesive exhibition. We look forward to receiving varied individual responses.
Submissions will be considered in any of the following media: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, artists books, text and poetry, textile art, mobiles, live performance, assemblages, collage and work made from found materials or objects.
We have an invited panel which includes some highly experienced gallerists and curators to select work for exhibition from the submitted entries. Submission is free of charge.
