Two primary schools in Bradford are currently experiencing partial closures affecting Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils due to heating system failures. The closures have been announced as the schools await repairs to their heating systems during the cold weather.
Hill Top CofE Primary School
Hill Top CofE Primary School has closed for KS2 pupils because the heating system in those classrooms is not working, resulting in extremely cold temperatures. The school remains open as usual for Nursery, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 children. A representative from Bradford Council is expected to attend to the boiler repairs.

However, KS2 children whose parents have no alternative childcare arrangements and families experiencing financial hardship are permitted to attend school.
