Peel Park Primary School and Nursery Closed Due to Burst Pipe
October 20, 2025Emergency School Closure Announced Following Flooding
Peel Park Primary School and Nursery in Bradford has been closed due to an emergency caused by a burst pipe, which has resulted in flooding and the water supply being turned off. The closure affects all students except for Year 6, who have been given special arrangements to attend a scheduled school trip.
Details of the Closure
The school reported the issue early on Monday, 20 October 2025. Due to the burst pipe, the water has been turned off until repairs can be completed, making it impossible to keep the school open safely for all pupils. As a result, the school has announced a full closure for the majority of students.
Arrangements for Students
- Year 6 students are permitted to arrive at 11:00 AM to attend their planned school trip as scheduled.
- All other students are expected to remain at home and will receive work via ClassDojo to complete remotely.
The school has thanked parents and carers for their understanding and support while the issue is being resolved.
