Young Farmers from the Worth Valley have come together in an epic show of support for our bid. From the streets to the hills, this is a bid for the whole district and we thank the group for this amazing land art!
The mammoth 100 x 50 metres creation, in a sheep-grazing field, is the work of Worth Valley Young Farmers Club and Fields of Vision.
Junior club members helped Fields of Vision duo David Burlison and Andrew Wood to mark-out the design, which includes the Bradford 2025 logo and the message ‘Worth Valley is backing the bid!’.
Worth Valley Young Farmers Club and Fields of Vision first collaborated on land art projects in 2014, when they were chosen to animate the route of the Tour de France Grand Depart in Yorkshire with 12 pieces of artwork and are now supporting our bid to become UK City of Culture.
