Young People’s CSE Outreach Worker – female
March 30, 2021An exciting opportunity has arisen for a key individual to join the Young Person’s team at Basis Yorkshire. Working within a harm reduction ethos, you will be supporting young people to effectively safeguard them and reduce the risk of further exploitation, providing intensive 1-2-1 work within a multi agency approach.

We are looking to appoint:-
Young People’s Child Sexual Exploitation Outreach Worker
35 hrs per week | 12 month contract
Salary: £25,339 per annum

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people, can embrace our core values of respect and trust and will support us in providing a unique service through their creative approach.
You will need to have:
- A passion for empowering and enabling young people
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working with vulnerable people, at least 2 of which are with ideally young vulnerable people or those at risk of child exploitation
- Experience of multi-agency partnership working
- Experience of working in a regulated environment, managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of a diverse and vulnerable client group
- An ability to thrive in an environment that is often challenging and pressurised.
- A full, clean UK driving licence and use of car.
You will be based in Leeds ( in-office work will be COVID-19 dependent) and may need to work unsocial hours.
