Bradford (Park Avenue) Prepare for Away Match at Heaton Stannington
October 22, 2026League leaders aim to maintain unbeaten run in Northern Premier League East Division
Bradford (Park Avenue) will travel to Newcastle upon Tyne this Saturday to face Heaton Stannington in their second away fixture of the week. Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm at The Willow Park, Newton Road.
Recent form and league standings
Bradford (Park Avenue) arrive in Newcastle in good form following a narrow 1-0 victory over Bridlington Town on Tuesday. The winning goal came in the first half from Scott Duxbury, alongside an own goal by Bridlington defender Kyle Fanning. Despite challenging weather conditions and late pressure from the home side, Bradford secured the win, extending their unbeaten start to the season to 13 matches—a new club record. This result moved them four points clear at the top of the Northern Premier League East Division.
Heaton Stannington currently sit ninth in the league after 15 games, just one point outside the play-off places. They enter the match unbeaten in their last two games, including a 2-2 draw away at North Ferriby where they came back from two goals down. The Stan have shown strong home form this season, winning five of their seven matches at The Willow Park.
Previous encounters
Bradford (Park Avenue) will be looking to improve on their previous results against Heaton Stannington this season. Last term, they failed to win either league fixture against the Stan, drawing 0-0 at home in October 2025 and losing 2-1 away in March. In the latter match, Bradford equalised through Adriano Moke after going behind early, but a second-half goal from Konner Lamb secured the win for Heaton Stannington.
However, Bradford did record a victory over Heaton Stannington in the Isuzu FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round last season, winning 2-1 at home thanks to first-half goals from Jak McCourt and Tom Corner.
