Lambton began his senior career with Guiseley AFC, where he signed a first-team contract in 2021. To gain match experience, he spent time on loan at Pontefract Collieries, Brighouse Town, and Albion Sports before moving to Emley AFC. At Emley, he played a significant role in the club’s promotion from the Northern Counties East League Premier Division to the Northern Premier League East Division in 2024.

During the 2025-26 season, Lambton started with Emley AFC, making over 170 appearances and recording 21 clean sheets before transferring to Matlock Town. He was part of the Matlock squad that finished second in their league, narrowly missing out on promotion after being eliminated by Bradford (Park Avenue) in the playoffs.
