Campbell’s Loan at Bradford (Park Avenue) Extended
March 13, 2026Goalkeeper to remain with the club until season’s end
Bradford (Park Avenue) AFC has confirmed that goalkeeper Maison Campbell will stay at the Horsfall Community Stadium until the conclusion of the 2025/26 season. This follows an extension of his initial one-month loan from Scunthorpe United.
Loan details and recent performances
The 22-year-old goalkeeper joined Bradford (Park Avenue) in February 2026 on a short-term loan, initially set for one month. This move came after Campbell returned to full fitness following an injury sustained during a warm-up earlier in the season. Since his arrival, Campbell has made four appearances for the club and kept three clean sheets, demonstrating a strong start as he aimed to regain match sharpness.
His performances during this period led to the decision to extend his loan until the end of the current campaign.
Career background
Before joining Bradford (Park Avenue), Campbell was on loan at National League side York City. He moved to York City from Mansfield Town in December 2023, with his loan initially set to last until the end of that season. However, this spell was cut short due to a recall clause activated by an injury in Scunthorpe United’s goalkeeping department.
During the 2023/24 season, Campbell made two appearances for Scunthorpe United. He contributed to the club’s progress to the final of the Lincolnshire Senior Cup, with victories over Gainsborough Trinity and Cleethorpes Town.
Current status at Scunthorpe United
Following Scunthorpe United’s promotion-winning campaign in the National League North and the departure of former first-choice goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons, Campbell was assigned the number one shirt ahead of the ongoing National League season. This indicates the club’s confidence in his potential as a key player.
Support for Bradford (Park Avenue)
The club has acknowledged the support of the Bradford (Park Avenue) Development Fund throughout the season. This backing assists the club in managing squad needs during a demanding campaign.
Campbell is expected to continue his involvement with Bradford (Park Avenue) for the remainder of the season, aiming to build on his positive start.
