Bradford (Park Avenue) secure loan deal for goalkeeper Maison Campbell

Bradford (Park Avenue) have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Maison Campbell on a one-month loan from Scunthorpe United. The 22-year-old joins the club in February 2026 as he aims to gain match fitness and competitive minutes during the latter stages of the season.

Player background and recent career

Campbell signed for Scunthorpe United ahead of the 2024/25 season after leaving National League side York City. His time at York City included a loan spell beginning in December 2023, which was extended until the end of that season. However, he was recalled early due to an injury crisis among Scunthorpe’s goalkeepers.

During the 2023/24 season, Campbell made two appearances for Scunthorpe United and contributed to the club’s run to the Lincolnshire Senior Cup final, with victories over Gainsborough Trinity and Cleethorpes Town.

After completing a permanent move to Scunthorpe, Campbell featured in several cup competitions during the 2024/25 campaign, continuing his development at senior level. Following Scunthorpe’s promotion-winning National League North season and the departure of goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons, Campbell was given the number one shirt for the current campaign.

Injury and loan move

Campbell suffered an injury during a warm-up in September 2025, which disrupted the early part of his season. Having since returned to full fitness, he has now moved on loan to Bradford (Park Avenue) to regain competitive match experience.

Club acknowledgements

  • Bradford (Park Avenue) thanked their Development Fund for supporting the squad strengthening.
  • They also expressed gratitude to Scunthorpe United for facilitating the loan deal.

The goalkeeper will join Bradford (Park Avenue) at the Horsfall Community Stadium, where he is expected to provide competition and cover in goal during his loan spell.
