Bradford (Park Avenue) have put a call out for a BTEC Sports Tutor on behalf of their academy partner, Brighter Futures Merseyside Limited

Brighter Futures Merseyside Limited is looking to hire a skilled BTEC Sports Tutor to join their team at the Bradford Campus, situated within at Horsfall Community Stadium. The role, offering a salary range of £25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience, is a full-time position designed for individuals who are passionate about blending education with sports coaching.

BTEC Sports Tutor Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be entrusted with delivering both theoretical and practical elements of the BTEC Sports curriculum, alongside undertaking responsibilities like teaching, marking, assessment, and contributing to football coaching at the Bradford (Park Avenue) Academy. This opening provides a unique chance to work within an established department, collaborating with a successful team to enhance pupil attainment and contribute significantly to student success.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should possess a genuine enthusiasm for education and coaching, demonstrating high motivation and a strong commitment to fostering student achievement. The role requires the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with both staff and students.

Essential qualifications for this position include a relevant teaching qualification (such as PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, or Cert Ed), a Level 3 qualification in Sports, and recent experience in delivering BTEC Sports qualifications and football coaching. A current DBS Certificate, a full UK driving licence, and a relevant football coaching qualification are also necessary.
