Anti-Racism Conference to Address Far-Right Challenges

An anti-racism conference titled “Fighting the Far Right: Anti-Racism, Collective Power + Communities” is scheduled to take place in Bradford on Saturday, 31 January 2026. The event aims to bring together Black workers, organisers, activists, and allies to discuss strategies for resisting far-right politics and promoting solidarity within communities.
Event details and purpose
The conference will be held at Grange Interlink on Summerville Road, BD7 1PX, from 11:00am to 4:00pm. It is organised by the TUC Black Workers* Conference in partnership with the Race Equality Network. The event is free to attend and will include lunch for participants.
The conference seeks to provide a platform for Black and Global Majority voices, defined broadly by the TUC to include individuals who self-identify as Black, Asian, or from other minority ethnic backgrounds and who do not identify as white. It will focus on building collective power, protecting communities, and combating racism in its various forms.
