Young adults will be able to meet music industry professionals at Bradford Arts Centre on 12 November.

AllStar is due to hold a free “Meet the Mentors” event in Bradford as part of BOOST, a 12-month programme offering training, mentoring and work placements in music and related creative industries.

The event is scheduled for Thursday 12 November 2026, from 4pm to 6.30pm, at Bradford Arts Centre, St Peter’s House, 1 Forster Square, BD1 4TY. It is aimed at people aged 19 to 30. Free tickets can be booked through the event registration page.

Training and placements

BOOST is intended to give young adults in Bradford District practical experience and routes towards careers across music and associated creative industries. The programme includes training and professional mentoring, as well as placements in a range of roles.

Areas covered include music production, live sound and lighting engineering, live event production, artist management, music education and media production. The programme is being delivered by AllStar and works with recording studios, industry professionals and music organisations across the district.

According to the programme details, BOOST aims to help participants develop practical skills and professional contacts, while connecting emerging talent with work experience, training and education opportunities. The initiative is supported by funding from Arts Council England and expands on AllStar’s work with young creatives in the region.

Meet the mentors

At the launch event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet people working in music production, live sound and lighting, music education and creative partnerships. The event is intended to give prospective participants a chance to hear about opportunities in the sector and the programme.

The event listing describes admission as free. Further information and registration are available through the online ticket page.
