The production follows Bobak Champion, who uses the medium of dance theatre to navigate his British-Iranian identity. The narrative moves between locations such as Bristol and the Tehran marathon, reflecting on personal and cultural acceptance amid prevailing media portrayals of the Middle East.
Through encounters with a variety of characters from around the world, Bobak’s journey highlights the complexity of belonging and self-understanding. The performance aims to offer an intimate and joyful experience that challenges stereotypes.
