Monthly screenings to celebrate Bradford’s independent film scene

A screening of the Bradford-made feature film tHE iNVISIBLES is scheduled for 17 September 2026 at Darley Street Market. Following a successful earlier showing this year, the film returns by popular demand as part of a new series of monthly screenings aimed at promoting Bradford’s growing film culture and independent filmmaking community.

About the film

tHE iNVISIBLES is a romcom musical written and directed by Bradford filmmaker Sean Grundy. The story is set during an unusual new pandemic and follows a lover who hides inside the walls of a house to have a secret affair. This triggers a narrative involving romance, obsession, music, and human connection. The film is inspired by a true story and was made in Bradford with local collaborators, featuring original songs and a distinctive Do-It-Yourself style.

Audience feedback has described the film as “totally original”, “weird but hilarious”, and “unlike anything else”.
