Bradford Writes to Showcase Regional Writers

Local event to feature ten published writers from the region

Bradford Arts Centre will host the latest edition of Bradford Writes on 14 October 2026. The event offers an opportunity to hear from a diverse group of regional writers, including poets and short story authors, presenting their work in a series of short readings.

The event will feature multilingual poet and writer Nabeela Ahmed, who regularly hosts the showcase. Each writer will have approximately ten minutes to present their work. Attendees will also have the chance to engage with the writers over refreshments, providing an informal setting to discuss the creative process and the themes explored in their writing.
