Double Bill Dance Performance at Bradford’s Loading Bay

Contemporary Taiwanese dance company D_Antidote Production to perform two shows

A double bill featuring two contemporary dance performances by Taiwanese company D_Antidote Production is scheduled for 5 November 2026 at the Loading Bay in Bradford. The event will showcase the company’s distinctive blend of bold visual aesthetics and highly skilled contemporary movement.

About the performances

The first piece, Palingenesis, had its West Yorkshire premiere as part of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture and is now returning for this event. The title refers to the concept of regeneration, drawing on biological, theological, political, and philosophical ideas. The performance explores themes of loneliness, self-identity, and human connection. It features three dancers whose movements convey a sense of transformation and interrelation, emphasising the importance of connection amid division.

The second show, Non-Ordinary Services, is a newer work by D_Antidote Production. It combines bold science fiction-inspired visuals with contemporary dance to examine the invisible systems and relationships that shape human interactions. The performance involves seven dancers executing acrobatic lifts and intertwined movements, creating hypnotic sequences that challenge conventional dance forms.
