Activities and Workshops
Local artist Mussarat Rahman will lead workshops focused on traditional crafts linked to South Asian culture, including clay tile making and paisley print block printing. These activities aim to engage participants of all ages in creative exploration.
- Memory Tiles for Children: Children, accompanied by an adult, can create clay tiles using various found objects to make impressions, write their names, or form shapes such as pots or flowers.
- Paisley Pattern Woodblocks: Adults and children can explore block printing techniques using traditional woodblocks featuring the paisley pattern, a design originating from India and Pakistan commonly seen in fabrics and reliefs.
