Family Make Space: Rapunzel Workshop at Bradford Arts Centre

A family-friendly arts and crafts workshop inspired by the story of Rapunzel is set to take place at Bradford Arts Centre on Thursday, 2 April 2026. The event offers children the opportunity to engage in a hands-on creative activity, building their own Rapunzel tower.
Workshop Details
- Date and Time: Thursday, 2 April 2026, from 12:00 to 13:30
- Location: Bradford Arts Centre, St Peter’s House, 1 Forster Square, BD1 4TY
- Cost: £2 per child
- Attendance: All children must be accompanied by an adult
The workshop is open to families attending any of the Rapunzel performances at the venue on the same day. Participants will have the chance to create a model tower, reflecting the iconic setting of the Rapunzel story.
Arts Award Discover Option
In addition to the standard workshop, there is an option for children aged five and above to complete their Arts Award Discover during the session. This introductory level award encourages creativity, curiosity, confidence, and communication skills through artistic exploration.
- Cost with Arts Award Discover: £9 per child
- Certification: Participants who complete the award will receive a certificate from Trinity College London
