About the performance

Gary Stewart Presents Graceland is a tribute show that faithfully recreates the sound and spirit of Paul Simon’s 1986 album, which is known for its fusion of South African rhythms and melodies with Western pop music. The band originally formed in 2015 for a festival performance and has since toured extensively across the UK and beyond.

The group has gained recognition for their live performances, including a sell-out show at York Barbican in December 2024. They aim to capture not only the music but also the energy and soul of the original recording, offering audiences an immersive experience of the celebrated album.
