A new theatrical adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s novel Jane Eyre will be performed at Bingley Arts Centre on 28 September 2026. The production aims to bring to life the gothic romance set against the Yorkshire moors, exploring themes of independence, resilience, and love.

The play will be staged by Conn Artists Theatre Company, following their recent adaptation of Far from the Madding Crowd. It features an ensemble cast of five actors and includes original music and songs. Direction is by Nick Young, known for his work with the Royal Shakespeare Company and Connaught Theatre in Worthing.
